Week 10 2018: Late and Short

I'm almost an entire week late on this commentary, so I'm going to keep it real short, just survivor updates and pickup of the week. Expect a bigger edition tomorrow for week 11.

Survivor

Not only did Represent knock off the #1 team this week for only her 3rd win of the season, she also earned her first elimination in our survivor standings. David Johnson turned in his best game all season, and her entire WR squad posted 14+ point games. Goofy Gang fell just 3 points short of Zane to be eliminated this week.

Pickup of the Week

This was a weird one. Steven pickup up who I thought would be the best player in Valdez-Scantling, but dropped him for a soon after injured Dez Bryant. This turned it to not matter much as MVS has been terrible the last two weeks. Zane's Team picking the correct week to play the Colts Defense wins him the pickup this time, as that squad scored 13 vs the Titans after scoring 1 and 4 points in their previous 2 games.

Week 13: Playoffs, Survivor Champion

A rare image of that one time the Jags were actually good Playoffs are here! The final week of the regular season included a bit of Chaos as Goofy Gang was able to claw his way into 6th place, while NB Power pushed into a 1st round bye. This next week, there are only 2 matchups because all of our losers bracket teams are on bye, as well as our league leaders. Survivor The winner of our very first survivor challenge has been crowned! Congrats Eagle Powers. The key to this game was consistency, and Eagle Powers has been consistently crushing it ever since this challenge started in week 5. With an average score of 139 and low of 113 during that period, this team has cruised to 4 eliminations (double that of the next best team) on the backs of Gurley, Luck, and Davante Adams, as well as insane waiver pickups in Conner, Chubb and Kerryon. Commish Commentary Week 6: Last Shall Beat First

Normally I would fill this first paragraph with some general observation about things that happened in the NFL this week, but for the first time all season I basically didn't watch any games at all, and I have no idea who even won them. The NFL is funny in that when I look over our scores I can't help but wonder how some of these things could even happen. How was Michael Thomas held to 1 point in a game where NO scored 52? How did Ellington end up with 0 touches on a team that hasn't run the ball all season? How did Davante Adams score 11 points when Rodgers passed for only 18 yards? Ok, I might have a decent guess on the Green Bay one. Recaps Travis's Team(94.32) > Rodgers That 🏈💪(68.62) What a weird week for Travis's team. Despite playing four dudes who combined for 4.4 points (!!) he cruised to a near 30 point victory on the backs of Houston's DEF, Hyde, and Mike Evans.
